Bureau of Indian Affairs (bia) Lender

The Divison of Capital Investment (DCI) assists American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and individuals in obtaining favorable interest rates and overcoming obstacles to traditional financing through the Indian Loan Guarantee and Insurance Program (ILGP) The Indian Financing Act (25 CFR 103) grants authorization to provide loan guarantees.

HUD 184 Lender

  • Legacy Bank serves as a broker and leverages its partnerships to assist individuals in their pursuit of HUD 184 loans.
  • With HUD 184 financing, borrowers can get into a home with a low down payment and flexible underwriting. HUD 184 loans can be used both on and off native lands, for new construction, rehabilitations, purchase of existing home, or refinance. HUD 184 is synonymous with home ownership in Indian Country.
  • Must be a Tribal Member to qualify.

We offer Financial Wellness Classes for tribes, catering to both youth and adults, encompassing a comprehensive range of 23 training sessions. These sessions encompass various topics, including but not limited to:

  • Paying bills to name a few

In addition to classes, we provide an interactive exercise known as "Spending Frenzy" allowing attendees to apply their newly  acquired skills in a controlled environment. As a Tribal-Owned Institution, we are committed to accompanying you and your future generations on this journey.
